How We Made One Of The Biggest WOM Triggers In B2B Event History For Microsoft

Microsoft partners are a major part of their business and APC is the biggest event of the year. Microsoft challenged us to think of ways to raise the profile of partner companies at the event beyond the traditional event-sponsored collateral -which carried partner logos on printed signage around the event ordered by the tier of sponsor.

We created a giant 20-metre widescreen logo wall that captured tweets from partner brands and employees during the event and displayed logos that changed size dynamically as the conversation changed. More tweets equalled a larger bubble.

Partners openly competed on social for Logo Wall glory mobilizing their own social teams as well as staff around the world to join in – which created nearly double the contributors than actual attendees.

This was one of the most successful activities at a B2B event not just in Australia, but the world.
